While im not really a fan of this particular traditional print fabric, I do like the mix of pattern with aqua & navy blocks of colour on this armchair & sofa.

Im not much of a journal keeper, but every now & then the urge takes me & I feel the need for a journal, or rather a visual diary to record my bits & pieces.

In the past ive always resorted to covering my own books with scraps of fabric, but it looks as though those days are going to be well & truely over now that ive seen these beautiful limited edition note books by Lara Cameron & Nicole from Freshly Blended.

We had only ever designed plain cosmetic bags, which always sold a treat, so this year decided to have a bit of fun & introduce some pattern into our range.

Imogen designed this collection - Hopscotch & Ivy, with matching totes. Printed on canvas then given a light plastic coating these make the ideal gift - the Ivy for all those who love pretty, while the Hopscotch design suits the slightly more sophisticated with its black, grey & chartreuse colour combinations.

I love them.

Using vintage fabrics & old tea towels Jolly Caravan hand makes these fun, one off cushions. If you spy one that you absolutely (Ive only ever seen them in The Poi Room) then make sure you get it cause once its sold, thats it - you wont get another one like it. These little beauties are one in a million :)

my house, my castle

Ive been holding onto this image for a while now. Its from an old-ish issue of Inside Out (the same issue as the karen walker spread).

The reason Ive kept it, is because of the circle artwork on the wall, & guess what! I found who made it today...

The lovely embroidered piece is by Rachel Castle & her mother Jillian Patching (how appropriate are there surnames?!) from Castle bedlinens.

Each piece is a hand-stitched one-off, on vintage french linen. Definitely something worth treasuring.
