I have a new NZ artist love... Rebecca Harris. Isnt this work wonderful?! I happened across Rebeccas work while flicking through a magazine in the weekend, & stored her name to memory so I wouldnt forget to share it with you all, & i havent - which means she must have made an impact!

All of these works are self-portraits of... Rebecca Harris in various guises, disguises, attitudes & social circumstance. She has clothed herself in camouflage, hides behind a mask. Each of these beautiful paintings has substantive social & political dialogues, environmental discourse & reminds us again how accomplished & pertinent Rebecca Harris has become as she has transitioned from a ceramic & printmaking background to an artist producing paintings of real importance & substance.

OMG, these are BRILLIANT!!! I must have them. I need a bunch of these prints and a tent for my bedroom like the Denmark hotel and instant camping!
