I always find old photos so charming - there's something about the soft, faded colours & people long forgotten that really gets me. The history behind each person & what the future held for them a mystery to me & at the moment of capture, to them.
I build little stories in my head about who they became, & what eventually happened to them, & why the photos were left behind, no longer treasured? Has it been so long that their existence is simply forgotten? It makes me sad.
Dear Dodo gives old photos a new lease of life & new memories. Clever little additions give them a fairy tale quality.
